Female total odor control

Embarrassing is what most women say about Flatulence, Incontinence and Feminine Odor Problems

A year long market survey about the obscure, “hush-hush” worlds of flatulence, incontinence and feminine odor problems, found 88% of women have one or more of these problems in their lives. Flat-D Innovations, Inc., a well-respected company specializing in personal odor control products, nationally conducted the study.

Flat-D found that 55% of the individuals they surveyed have some type of personal or medical condition causing excessive and/or uncontrollable flatulence, incontinence or feminine odor problems, which cause extreme embarrassment. These types of conditions can add to a person’s daily stress level. Flat-D discovered that 65% of the people surveyed, feel these subjects are too difficult and uncomfortable to discuss.

Brian Conant, president of Flat-D Innovations, Inc, , says "One might feel like they're all alone in their personal dilemma, but this is never the case. 85% of the people surveyed were embarrassed and felt uncomfortable with these problems. Flat-D Innovations, Inc is assisting individuals to cope with these embarrassing disorders”.

So, what is one to do about these personal embarrassing problems?

"Our products change peoples' lives," says Conant. "When they [new customers] first come to us, many feel trapped and restricted by their condition and are unable to find an effective solution. We show them a safe, drug-free solution that allows them to improve their quality of life - without fear, stress or anxiety!"

Through research, prototypes and live testing (with real customers) Flat-D Innovations, Inc developed a line of women’s only products: The “FEM-D”, “Thong-D” and "Overpad Plus." These products are made from activated charcoal and will increase a woman’s confidence and self esteem, by eliminating the embarrassment caused by feminine odors. The disease Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) alone affects over 44-million people in the United States and 70% of those are females ranging from the ages of 29 – 60 years old.

Flat-D Innovations, Inc., a 5 year old corporation (FDA registered company and listed with the Better Business Bureau), manufactures effective activated charcoal products to over 40 countries worldwide. Their products are commonly recommended by doctors for flatulence, incontinence and feminine odor problems. Flat-D Innovations markets a wide range of non-drug, non-invasive and simple solutions for odor control problems.

Remove odor from clothes with Flat-D

Universal Deodorizer- Unique gift – Bag that removes odors from your clothes!

Cedar Rapids, IA– November 1, 2009 — Flat-D Innovations Inc. has developed an odor absorbing bag that will remove the smells from clothes that are placed inside it. The Universal Deodorizer Bags absorb nuisance odors, like smoke and perspiration, out of clothing articles. The bags are made of activated charcoal cloth, which removes odor molecules from clothing, shoes, and other garments. This prevents those smelly items from contaminating clean clothing in your closet or suitcase. No need to find a laundry machine to wash your clothes anymore while traveling.

Brian Conant, President of Flat-D Innovations Inc., says: “We came up with the idea while vacationing in Las Vegas. After being in the casinos, surrounded by smoke, we noticed upon returning to our room, the smell of the smoke still lingered in our clothing.” Since the trip was only 3-days long, he felt it wasn’t necessary to do laundry. Again, like in previous trips he has made to Las Vegas, all of his clothing in the suitcase smelled like smoke, including the clean garments. This inspired the idea of using an activated charcoal material to make a laundry bag. Now when he travels, all of his dirty clothes are placed into this laundry bag, preventing clothing outside the bag from being contaminated.

Smoke gets on your clothes, making it necessary to clean the clothes before you wear them again. The average cost to dry clean a suit is $11, and $2 to clean a shirt. Not to mention the time and inconvenience of going to the dry cleaners, and having to go back to pick them up. With this bag people will not have to wash or clean their clothes to wear them after one night at the bar or casino.

The bags were tested by the Rachael Ray Show and by the Washington Post in 2009. Both gave rave reviews as to the efficacy of the product. See the Youtube video on company website

People who travel will use the deodorizing Laundry Bag because they want to keep soiled and smelly clothes away from the clean clothes in their luggage. This product is now distributed by

Soccer Moms will also be able to get rid of the odor on Shin Guards with the Utility Satchel.

The Universal Deodorizer products are washable and can be reactivated to 90% with the heat of a dryer, thus rejuvenating it for years of use. Activated Charcoal is a passive technology so it takes some time (several hours) to pull odors out of cloth. A very Green product!!!

Flat-D Innovations, Inc. is a 7-year-old FDA registered company, listed with the Better Business Bureau, and has a significant roll in combating the very large world of odor control problems. They manufacture highly effective activated charcoal products that have been distributed to over 40 countries world-wide.

The answer is NO, it would absorb the odors when he exhales. My kids use the mask when they have to clean the cats liter box. Others use it when they have to clean someones Ostomy pouch. It works great.

Mint for flatulence

There are many natural solutions for reducing flatulence. None of them eliminate flatulence totally. This is because we are mammals and gas is a natural part of digestion. A Flat-D pad is also a natural solution as it does not affect digestion or alter the body function in any way. Otherwise here is an article about the benefits of mint on digestion.

Peppermint is the herb of choice for many of man's most common maladies. For sinus congestion, sore throat, pain, sneezing, coughing and chilliness, a strong cup of tea can ease discomfort and bring relief. Breathing peppermint oil alone on a handkerchief or in combination with a couple of drops of lavender essential oil also alleviates migraine headaches for some individuals.
A steam made of a few drops of peppermint oil added to boiling water is a beneficial way to get relief from sinus congestion. Pour boiling hot water and 2-3 drops of peppermint oil in a bowl, place it on a table; sit in front of it, drape a towel over your head, breathe deeply. Be careful to keep a safe distance away from the bowl to prevent burning, stay underneath the towel for 10-15 minutes. Peppermint is also ideal for flavoring and harmonizing herbal blends, combining well with other flu remedies such as elderflower and boneset.
A cup of cold peppermint tea stimulates digestion, settles the stomach, alleviates nausea, indigestion and reduces flatulence. A couple of sprigs of peppermint heated in warm milk are helpful with stomach upset. However, for individuals diagnosed with GERD, gastro-intestinal reflux disorder/hiatal hernia with acid reflux, peppermint could actually exacerbate indigestion because it relaxes the sphincter at the top of the stomach. In this instance peppermint is contraindicated, and should be avoided. Consult with your health practitioner before using this herbal remedy.

Food allergy link to flatus

I found this article that relates food allergys to increased flatus production. This makes sense because when we eat certain foods we create more gas. Here it is.

Food intolerance could be the main reason people with chronic inflammation disease (CID) continue to suffer, scientists have revealed.
Research carried out by a team at York University and food allergy researchers YorkTest showed a vast improvement in people suffering from various inflammatory diseases after they identified and eliminated certain problem foods from their diet.
More than 75% of the 5,000 participants who took part in the study showed the improvement within three weeks of cutting out the foods, which were identified through an IgG antibodies test, commonly used to identify food intolerance.
Of the people who took part in the research, 91% saw improvement in flatulence/wind, 90% saw improved upset stomach symptoms, 88% had fewer general aches and pains, 87% were less fatigued, 84% had fewer rashes and 74% saw improved arthritis symptoms after changing their diet.
Those with IBS showed a significant reduction in stomach distension, bowel dysfunction and general well-being, and also showed a reduction in factors such as pain and fatigue.

Lactose intolerance and flatulence

Worldwide, more than 60% of adults are unable to digest lactose, with the undigested sugars leading to cramping, flatulence, bloating and other symptoms. While some 90% of northern Europeans are able to digest lactose after childhood, only 5% of Asians, 25% of African and Caribbean peoples, and half of Mediterranean peoples are lactose tolerant. USA TODAY (08/31)

Flat-D knows this is a problem for many people. We have a simple solution and one that does not have any side effects like many drugs cause. Try our Flatulence Deodorizer to remove the odor from the intestinal gas or flatus.

Charcoal underwear or underpants for intestinal gas

Wearing a Flat-D or Flatulence Deodorizer pad is just like wearing activated charcoal underwear. There is no need to wear whole charcoal lined undergarments as they are very expensive and you dont need the charcoal absorbing material on the sides or front of the underwear. You only need a little pad right where the gas comes out. The carbon underwear do have a limited life span and they do decrease effectiveness each time they are washed. Flat-D makes a great pad for removing flatus odor or passing intestinal gas fart smell.

Flatulence Etiquette by Flat-D

Flat-D found this foreign article about flatulence etiquette. As you know we are for good etiquette by promoting our Flatulence Deodorizer product. If everyone would wear our product then we would have a better world to live in. We would not have problems with sitting next to people on an airplane, in church, in meetings, or walking into the bosses office.

The other week, I came out of the newsroom to find my colleague leaping out of the lift in a hell of a hurry.
This in itself does not seem unusual except that he had departed just moments before me, with the intention of going home.
He turned to me and said "I’m waiting for the next lift. Someone has farted in that one and I don’t want to be blamed for it by the person waiting at the bottom."
Conceding he had a fair point, I waited for the next lift too.
Now, I’m no Miss Manners, but surely etiquette would suggest suspension of any farting in the lift, given its confined space and lack of ventilation. Unless the lift is incredibly slow, surely you can wait a few floors?
There’s certainly etiquette around flatulence and running. In every group I’ve ever run with, the situation seems to be: just ignore it. The person who farted never apologises and everyone else pretends to have gone momentarily deaf.
I guess it’s based on the knowledge that we’re all at risk of it happening . Running seems to put pressure on the digestive system which appears to, er, encourage movement.
In the grand scheme of things, there are many things worse than runner’s trots. However, in terms of an event or training, it’s pretty much as bad as it gets. This nasty affliction, which is exactly what the name suggests, is the very reason one should never, ever eat anything new the day of, or even the day before, a race.
I know of one runner who only got as far as the first toilet in a half marathon because of a crab curry the night before.
I had an unfortunate experience in my early days of events, before I was experienced enough to know better, involving a nutrition bar and club triathlon. That goes down in my memory as worst race ever.
Most people who have been doing crazy recreational activities long enough seem to have horror stories. Which become amusing once enough time has passed to get some perspective. Before that, not so much.
Purely in the interests of being on the safe side, I think I know the location of every public toilet in the Wellington region.

Odorless body bags by Flat-D

Flat-D gets involved with a lot of crazy odor control applications. The latest is an odorless body bag using our activated charcoal cloth material. They are also called corpse pouch. Evidently when and if a body is found out in the woods or in a home after several days the body decomposition has started and has a bad odor. So evidently the standard body bags do not contain the odor. So Flat-D has developed an overbag for a standard body bag. It will completely envelope a body bag so the odors do not get out. So if you have a smelly corpse be it human or any animal- let us know, we can make a custom product for you.

Gastric Bypass gas odor

Obesity is sneaking up on us. In 1991 no state in the USA had more than 20 % of its adults considered obese. Now the USA has only one state under 20%! Man stabbed after passing gas

It is getting rough out there for the flatulent.
Please wear your Flat-D all the time, you never know when it will offend someone to this point.

April 9, 2009
By Nick Dean-Staff writer
Baylor University The Lariat Online - Waco,TX,USA
Flatulence upset a man to the point of assault Tuesday at the Clarion Inn on South Fourth Street.
Juan Antonio Salano Castellano, 35, was sharing a hotel room with four other individuals. At the time of the crime, one roommate was showering and two were outside on their cell phones.
While eating in the hotel room with another man, Castellano passed gas. The flatulent act enraged the man, who threw a large kitchen knife across the room, Waco police said. The hurled knife cut Castellano on his leg.
The man then walked across the hotel room, picked up the kitchen knife and stabbed Castellano in the left side of his chest, the Waco police said.
The other roommates walked in the hotel room to find Castellano had been stabbed and attempted to take him to the nearest emergency room. Once the men realized they weren't aware of the location for the nearest hospital, and an ambulance and police were called.
According to the press release, Castellano was transported from the hotel by East Texas Medical Center to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Hillcrest Hospital has no records of the victim's hospital visit Tuesday. The victim had not been to the hospital since 2008, a Hillcrest Hospital representative said.
Jose Braule Ramirez, 33, was arrested in the hotel room and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The charge carries a minimum prison sentence of 2 years and a maximum of 20 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
Ramirez is being held at the McLennan County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
The jail is also holding Ramirez because of an immigration detainer. As of mid-day Wednesday Ramirez had not posted bail.

Bus Driver Makes Stink About Boy's Passing Of Gas

Sorry for the delay in responding to this article below.
We sell many of our products for childrens use.
Surprisingly several school districts purchase our product for select students use.

If this kid was wearing our Flatulence Deodorizer he would not have been suspended.

This might be a nice follow up to the previous story. Let me know if you need a sample to give to this kid.

Boys and girls have the same amount of gas.
Reasons kids can make a lot of gas- digestive disorders and eating vegetables.

LAKELAND. Florida - It's a practiced art among most middle school boys: The passing of gas and blaming it on someone sitting next to you.
Farting has been going on for years, maybe decades, heck, maybe even since the dawn of mankind. It's always, well, usually funny. But beware of laughing out loud at farts. It could land you and your sense of humor in the toilet.
Just ask Jonathan Locke Jr., a Polk County eighth grader who got blamed for farting on a school bus earlier this week and ended up being banned from the bus for three days. Actually, it wasn't the farting that resulted in his ouster, it was the disruption that followed, school officials said.
"I guess it was just because I was laughing so hard," Jonathan said Thursday. "I don't know."
The 15-year-old attends the Bill Duncan Excel Center, an alternative school in Lakeland. He denied making the sound on the bus Monday. He said a friend was making flatulent sounds with his mouth.
That cracked him up, he said. Then came the rank odor, which made the situation hysterical, he said.
"I just thought it was funny," he said.
A day later, when he walked onto the bus to go home, he was handed a note telling him he had been barred from the bus for three days.
"Jonathan passes gas on the bus to make the other children laugh and it is so stink (sic) that you can't breathe after he does it," the bus driver wrote in a disciplinary note that contains the three-day suspension sanction.
Jonathan said he walked across the street to where a relative works and his father came and picked him up.
He has had to get rides from his father over the next couple of days. On Thursday, he stayed home from school.
Jonathan Locke Sr. thinks the school went a bit too far in this flatulence fracas and said the whole ordeal has disrupted his son's education.
"I don't know how they can do it, but apparently they can," he said. "They say it's disrupting the bus and they can do whatever they want to if it comes to disrupting the children on the bus."
Locke Sr. admitted that sometimes farts are funny but said the end result here was not funny.
"He's already had enough problems," the elder Locke said. "I'm sure this isn't going to help him overcome the problems he already has."
He said his son told him he was not the passer of the gas on the bus that Monday afternoon.
"I know you can't search somebody for something like that," he said. The teen told his father: 'I didn't even do it … It was really the kid in front of me.' "
Polk County school district officials either declined to talk about the matter or didn't return messages today.

Flat-D on the Tonight Show

Frank went to the Inventbay Show in Las Vegas. The Tonight Show was there and wanted to see some of the inventions. After a couple of months of waiting we finally made the show in early January.
