Covid Flatulence ???

Wearing a Flat-D pad can remove the odors from flatulence but none of these other afflictions.

A report from the nation’s drugs watchdog, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, listed some of the weirdest reported side-effects of Covid vaccines logged over the past five years.

It comes after it was revealed 16,000 people have made a compensation claim to a government scheme for alleged harm caused by the vaccines.

Among cases logged were 18 people whose libidos increased uncontrollably — while another 61 saw a fall in their sex drive.

There were 24 cases of eating disorders and 43 patients said they went on to suffer paranoia.

One person said they had developed transvestism, a condition where people wear the clothes of the opposite sex, after having Pfizer vaccine.

Some 415 people said the Astra vaccine caused them to suffer from flatulence.

Uncontrollable yawning, fatigue, nausea, skin rashes and gambling were also recorded.

The register acts as an “early warning system” for potential side effects.
The MHRA said: “A reported reaction does not necessarily mean it has been caused by the medicine, only that the reporter had a suspicion it may have.”

We all have flatulence

In fact, we all fart and anyone who says they don’t is either lying, or unaware of the gas coming out, because maybe they hold on to it until they go to the toilet or whilst they sleep.

Flatulence comes from gas leaving the gastrointestinal tube, and while everyone does it, there are certain foods that can alter how much gas and the smell.

Spicy foods, beans and vegetables such as sprouts and cabbage have been found to increase flatulence – and whilst a diet high in fibre is absolutely great for our health, it can mean more gas.

It’s a good idea for most of us to increase our fibre intake but it’s best to increase it slowly and gradually to prevent any unpleasant symptoms.

But if there’s a change in your flatulence that persists and is also accompanied by other symptoms, such as tummy ache, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation or changes to bowel habit then it’s important to get it checked out as it could be a symptom of an underlying condition.

It’s completely normal for farts not to smell or to smell strongly.

It depends on the person, what they’ve eaten and their individual microbiome – that’s the community of bacteria and other microbes that live inside our digestive tract and help us digest certain nutrients, especially those from fibre-rich foods.

Gas odor and pain

Putting on a Flat-D pad can end embarrassment of gas odor.

Many foods contribute to gas buildup and pain as well. These include dairy products, bran, vegetables like asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage, plus fruits like peaches, pears and apples. Beans (legumes) can also cause gas, as can most foods that contain carbohydrates. Some medications and supplements such as aspirin, antacids, multivitamins and fiber supplements also contribute to air buildup and feelings of discomfort.

Unpleasant act of flatulence

Flat-D makes several pads that take care of the unpleasant part of releasing intestinal gas. Check out our website www.flat-d.com

Flatulence is often considered an unpleasant act that is synonymous with bad health. However, it is a necessary process that indicates that the digestive system is functioning as it should. Gastroenterologist Anish Sheth explains that the intestinal microbiota generates gases in the digestive tract that must be released.
Furthermore, the air that is swallowed during meals also contributes to flatulence. On average, people release flatulence about 14 times a day, and it is most prevalent in the morning when gases accumulated during sleep are expelled. Excessive flatulence can be reduced by changing eating habits and eating slower.

Flatulence and bloating

You can eat what you want and wear a Flat-D Odor Control Products pad. Sometimes healthy items can cause smelly gas

Many people complain of flatulence after eating. Sometimes, even after eating or drinking a little, the stomach starts to swell violently. In medical language it is called bloating. It is also known as gas or flatulence in the stomach. Swelling or pain in the abdomen accompanied by belching or discomfort in the abdomen are all symptoms of bloating.
It is believed that eating too fast and swallowing air, eating too much at one go, constipation, liver disease, pregnancy are some of the common causes of bloating. Apart from these, some food items like beans, lentils, broccoli, cabbage, high salt items and milk also increase this problem.

Stinky farts in bed

This article shows that it is the smell not the sound that is the problem. A Flat-D pad is great at removing the odor but surprisingly it also muffles the sound.

A married woman revealed that her husband allegedly called her flatulence “absolutely revolting” — after only farting once in front of him during their nine-year relationship.
“After hearing his very strong thoughts on the topic, I made a mental note to ensure my own expelling of gas was done in a very private matter and contained within the bathroom and toilet or until he was not around to smell it,” she wrote.
That is, until one night, her “guard was down” and the “post-pizza gasses” came back to haunt her. Lying in bed next to her husband, she accidentally let one rip — and was met with a disgusted look.

‘Stinky Grandad’ reveals ‘really, really bad’ farts affecting private and professional life: ‘I’ve tried everything’

We hate to read that someone tried everything. He has not tried a Flat-D.com flatulence deodorizer pad.

He may have tried dietary items or OTC medicine. Ours does not have side effects and it works for everyone if used properly.

Craig revealed that he gets ‘a lot of wind during the night’ and goes to the toilet ‘around 10 times a day.’

He continued: ‘My farts are really bad during the night sometimes. It’s really really bad. Uncomfortable.’

My partner will flick the quilt in the middle of the night and say, “Craig, you’ve done it again.” The window will be opened. Spraying sprays. The door open get the air through the rooms to get it clear.

‘It does affect my private life and my professional life as a firefighter. If we’re out and about as soon as I get back, I need to use a toilet.’

Craig said he was ‘desperate’ to find out ‘what’s up with his stomach’, revealing he had tried everything, from intolerance tests to cutting out dairy.

He also confessed he was known as Stinky Grandad because of his relentless farting by his grandson.

After undoing tests, which came back normal, and receiving advice from the experts, Craig overhauled his diet.

Fortunately, it worked, with Craig now having a largely plant-based diet which he said made him fart less, as well as giving the flatulence a clean odor.

Farting products

We make a variety of Flat-D Odor Control Products for all types of gas.

Everybody finds themselves expelling gas from their bodies at some point in life. Flatulence is just a natural part of the human experience.
When it comes to how we develop that gassy and bloating feeling, it stems from two causes:
1-Swallowing air while eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum.
2-From food, especially certain hard-to-digest foods.
Intestinal gas gathers as a result of digestion and bacterial fermentation in the colon. The major gases making up flatus are hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane. Hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur-containing gases cause most of the odor.
If you have a lot of flatulence with such other symptoms as reflux, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloody stools, nausea and vomiting, or weight loss, see your doctor.

Tis the season to FART

Tis the season for traveling to see family. A Flat-d.com pad can be a handy traveling companion. On airplanes especially.

It was on a flight to New Zealand that a Danish scientist had a bit of a lightbulb moment. Noticing changes in the air of his water bottle, and feeling just a little bloated after the journey, Jacob Rosenberg began theorising about the human body’s behaviour on something that happens to all of us, something we never speak about, and something we never want to hear or really smell for that matter: ‘why do we seem to fart more on planes?’.
Very simply, it is gas in our intestines that needs to get out, but how it builds up can come down to a range of factors.
As we go through our day we are swallowing in air doing basic activities like chewing food or drinking. This swallowed air, known as exogenous air, includes oxygen and nitrogen which gets absorbed into the bloodstream from the small intestine, but any excess needs to be expelled.
There are also plenty of bacteria doing their job in the colon of breaking down food which results in something called endogenous air. Depending on what you have been eating, the makeup of this will mostly be hydrogen, but it could also contain methane, and the stuff that adds that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ stink aroma, hydrogen sulphide. But only 1% of the roughly 1.5 litres of gas we emit each day actually smells.
As you are no doubt aware, some foods you eat tend to make a difference on your flatus quota for the day with high fibre foods and undigested carbohydrates in sugars like fructose and sorbitol, starchy products like potatoes, high-sulphur items like garlic and onions, and cruciferous vegetables including cauliflower and broccoli making the difference.
As Rosenberg noted on that fateful flight to New Zealand, he saw changes to his water bottle. It had been “squeezed” after expanding in the low pressure and then crumpling back when the plane reached the airport.
“When we landed, my belly had grown. That led me to speculate what had happened. When I got back to work I discussed with two of my students, and we simply came up with the idea for the paper.”
It's really down to physics. The cabin pressure decreases, the air inside the bowel expands by up to 30% more than usual, and that needs to get out.
“Since there is only limited space in the large bowel, it is a natural consequence to fart,”

Lots of Flatulence - no problem for Flat-D.com

Use a Flatulence Deodorizer if you fart from 1 to 21 times a day.

Typically, adults produce about two pints of gas each day, which sneaks—or leaks—out via an average of 14 farts a day. If that number seems low to you, don't worry. It's apparently perfectly normal to pass gas up to 21 times a day.

A Covid mask for your Butt

Time for a mask for your butt, A flat-d.com pad can help.

According to the experts, Covid-19 could be spread through flatulence or farting, to us commoners. A lot of partners are now finding another reason to tell the bloke off for having a cheeky trump. They do advise ventilation in order to slow the spread of Covid so this only gives you more reason.

Ministers have reportedly pointed to evidence that Covid could be spread by people farting in confined spaces such as lavatories. One said they had read "credible-looking stuff on it" from other countries, though no government scientist is yet to produce conclusive findings on the matter.

Flatulence log

Wear a Flatulence Deodorizer and not have any problems. Otherwise this is some good advice

Q: In the afternoons I often have very loud gas.

I do eat breakfast, but sometimes skip lunch. Different over-the-counter meds have been mostly useless. The flatulence happens throughout the evening. What can you suggest?

A. The first step in overcoming gas is to keep a “fart chart.” People can be sensitive to different foods. For many, legumes are the culprit. For others it is wheat or barley, especially if they are sensitive to gluten. Milk sugar (lactose) is another potential problem. That’s why keeping track of flatulence and food triggers can be helpful.

You didn’t mention whether you are taking any medications. A surprising number of drugs can trigger flatulence.

Farts smell bad, but a Flat-D pad can help

Flat-D.com pads are the most popular solution to remove that bad smelling gas odor.

There are numerous reasons why your farts may smell bad. “While working to digest food, the body makes several byproducts, such as hydrogen, methane and carbon dioxide,” Dr. O’Brien says. “When these gases are released from your body, they can cause odiferous farts.” Dietary decisions can play a role, i.e. particularly foul-smelling flatulence usually occurs when you eat fatty and unhealthy foods. And food allergies and/or sensitivities can make your gas smell.

Flatulence at the wrong time

A Flatulence Deodorizer by Flat-D.com can help with most smelly gas odor situations.

We all know the feeling. The telltale build-up of hydrogen and methane in your large intestine. The discomfort as the gases expand and the mortal dread that comes as the pressure builds. They want out. They’re going to evacuate, violently if necessary, from one end of the digestive tract or the other, as is nature’s way. But why now? Why here, in the middle of a job interview or the first meeting with your partner’s aristocratic parents?

Flatulence doesn’t care about your schedule, unfortunately. But it could be a lot worse than a burp over dinner or a bottom burp in an overpopulated elevator.

Stinking out bedroom

We suggest this woman do a google search for Flat-D and or Flatulence Deodorizer. And give one to your husband.

A mum-to-be was raging after being forced to sleep on the sofa after her husband would 'not stop farting' and stinking out their bedroom.
She posted: "Ok I suspect I am being unreasonable, being 36 weeks pregnant and hormonal. But I have just spent yet another night on the uncomfortable sofa downstairs because DH will not stop farting and stinking out our bedroom.
"I'm not even joking, it smells so bad he just thinks it's funny. Then he gets mad at me for refusing to stay in the same room as his stench. He doesn't even try to hold them in! AIBU for expecting him to not stink out our bedroom every single night?"

Flat-D helps vegetarians eat beans

Flat-D gets a lot of calls an product orders from vegetarians. Here is a post we came across. (also a Flat-D pad can be cut for children size use)

We know the effects of childhood habits and preferences on health, and we observe that many of the foods we ate as children, healthy or not, continue in our adult diet because of cravings or feelings of comfort provided by the foods we associate with the family we were raised in.
I urge readers to consider eating more grains and legumes (beans may need to be added gradually to the diet to avoid flatulence) one or two days a week at a minimum — for your health and the health of the earth so that you will live longer and your descendants will still be able to inhabit this planet.
